Led by Pauline Greaves, owner of Libby Brown’s Basket and a veteran educator with over 40 years of experience, this self-paced, 10-class course brings masterful technique to your crochet journey. It’s a fun, engaging way to learn
Enrolment Fees:

Beginner Crochet
This beginner course provides essential theory and practical work for those with only a little or absolutely no experience. Learn basic stitches, terminologies, reading patterns, basic charts, make various crochet shapes, learn how to change colours, and join everything together.
Tuesday Class | 7pm – 9pm, classes start 27th January
Wednesday Class | 10am – 12pm, classes start 28th January
What to bring
- Your crochet hook and some yarn to get started.
- 8 ply yarn with 4 mm to 4.5 mm hook
- 10 ply yarn with 6 mm hook
Intermediate Crochet
The intermediate course provides essential theory and practical work for those with a range of crochet experience. Learn basic stitches, terminologies, reading patterns, basic charts, make various crochet shapes, learn how to change colours, and join everything together.

Thursday Class | 7pm-9pm, classes start 29th January

Sewing & Dressmaking Courses

Beginner Sewing
Never picked up a needle and thread or have a little experience but want to make bigger seam dreams a reality?
Tuesday Class | 6pm – 9pm, classes start 27th January
Thursday Class | 10am – 1pm, classes start 29th January
Expect to learn:
- 4 hand sewing stitches
- How to wind a bobbin & thread your machine
- The different stitches available on your machine
- 6 different seam finishes and so much more!
Dressmaking Essentials
For graduates of the Beginners class or sewers with base skills looking to progress to learning dressmaking and more advanced techniques, the Dressmaking Essentials course is designed to improve your reading of designs, fitting patterns, marking fabric etc.

Thursday Class | 6pm-9pm, classes start 29th January
Expect to leave having created:
- Pants
- A-line skirt
- A dress + more
Dressmaking Stage 2
For graduates of the Dressmaking Essentials class or advanced sewers looking to progress to their dressmaking and more advanced techniques, the Dressmaking Stage 2 course is for you.
Monday Class | 6pm – 9pm, class starts Monday 2nd February
Expect to leave having created:
- A princess line dress
- Or top and a skirt with a waist band a lapped zip and buttonhole
