The Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society (CAHRS) offers a range of versatile venues designed to accommodate various events, from exhibitions and trade shows to social gatherings and corporate functions. Our facilities provide ample space, essential amenities, and a range of conveniences to ensure the success of your event.
With three distinct venues catering to a variety of event needs, CAHRS provides well-equipped spaces that ensure flexibility and comfort for all attendees. Whether you’re hosting a large-scale exhibition or an intimate gathering, our facilities offer the ideal setting for your event.
Vickery Pavilion
The Vickery Pavilion has two rooms and the whole facility that is licensed to accommodate up to 100 people, with a maximum 50 people in each room. It is suitable for workshops, seminars, social events and community group gatherings.

- 40 wooden trestle tables (1.8m x 0.75m)
- 40 chairs and more chairs would be available upon request.
- 1x Display fridge
- 1x Microwaves.
- Tea/ Coffee station (Hirers must bring their own kitchen utensils and cleaning supplies)
Toilets:
- Female: 2 cubicles, 1 hand basin.
- Male: 1 cubicle, 1 urinal, 1 hand basin.
- Accessible Facilities: 1 cubicle, 1 hand basin, and shower facilities.
Canning Agricultural Pavilion
The Canning Agricultural Pavilion spans 644 sqm and is licensed to accommodate up to 458 people. It is suitable for corporate conferences, social events, ceremonies, and smaller seminars with partial hire options.

- 83 trestle tables (1.8m x 0.75m) and 275 chairs.
- 18 round tables (1.8m in diameter).
- Sensory Praying Room/ Lockable Storage Room
- Audio system and projector (available at an extra cost)
Kitchen Amenities:
- 2 display fridges.
- 1 freezer.
- Commercial ovens.
- Electric cooktop.
- Pie warmer and microwaves.
- Hirers must bring their own kitchen utensils and cleaning supplies.

Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall is a spacious 640 sqm venue, licensed to host up to 642 guests at any given time. It is ideal for exhibitions, fairs, conferences, dances, trade shows, and other large-scale events.

- 120 tables (1.8m x 0.75m) and 380 chairs available.
- Audio system and projector (available at an extra cost).

Liddlelow Pavillion
The Liddelow Pavilion provides a more intimate setting at 200 sqm, with a capacity of 204 people, making it ideal for weddings, social gatherings, family events, training sessions, and workshops.

- 25 trestle tables (1.8m x 0.75m) and 90 chairs.
- 10 round tables (1.8m in diameter).

Showgrounds
Our showgrounds have power and water source ready, and we have different sizes of lawns available which is an ideal place to host large external events like Carnivals, Festivals Celebration, Markets, Expos or Shows.

Market Hall
Market Hall is a spacious 480sqm undercover area that’s perfect for markets, community gatherings, and recreational activities. Currently serving as our Pickleball Centre, it’s a lively and versatile venue equipped with power and easy access to nearby bathroom facilities. Whether you’re planning a casual community event or a buzzing local market, Market Hall is ready to bring your ideas to life.
