
If you’re wanting to put a twist on burger night, or just need an easy lunch idea, these smash burger quesadillas are perfect.
Ingredients:
- 450g ground beef
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Optional toppings, pickles, diced onions, burger sauce, shredded lettuce
Method:
- Preheat non-stick pan and spray with cooking oil
- Using a quarter of the ground beef, press it onto on side of the tortilla until thin
- Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder and any other seasonings you want
- Place the beef side down on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy and browned, then flip to the other side
- Add cheese to the cooked side and any other extra toppings you want, fold the tortilla in half and press gently, cook on both sides for another minute until golden and crispy
- Remove from pan and wait to cool. Slice and serve with sauce of your choice.
