Our social groups are the heart of our center. Whether you are a master maker or just starting out, these groups offer a relaxed space to work on your projects, share tips, and enjoy the company of fellow enthusiasts. There’s no formal teacher, just a supportive community of like-minded people.

Sew Social | Social Sewing Group
Bringing together all those with a love of sewing, the casual sessions will provide a chance to practice your craft amongst like-minded peers, including asking sewing questions, bouncing ideas, sharing patterns, and just having a chat with new friends. All levels welcome, but there’s no formal teacher. Interested in entering the Canning Show Exhibition? This also provides perfect opportunities to learn about it and get your winning entries ready.

Woolly Wednesdays | Social Knitting and Crochet Group
A weekly social crochet and knitting group to share skills, chat and help others, troubleshoot other creators, looking to take your own projects to the next level, this is the crafty, relaxed, creative, fun-loving and social group to help share the yarn love!

When: Wednesday 1pm – 3pm
What to bring:
- It’s recommended if you’re a beginner knitter to start out with a ball of 8 ply wool in the colour of your choice and a pair of 4mm needles. Or if you’re a beginner crocheter start with a ball of 8 ply wool in the colour of your choice and a 5mm crochet hook.
- More experienced? Bring a current project you’re working on.

Craft Connoisseurs | Social Craft Group
Whether you enjoy ceramics, leatherwork, origami, decoupage, card-making, patchwork, scrapbooking, embroidery, jewelry-making or any other crafty pursuits,
Craft Connoisseurs provides an open space to let your creativity flow.
A weekly casual, social session, BYO project and materials to get your craft on, whilst having a cuppa, relaxing and meeting fellow crafters. All lovers of any crafts are welcome!
