The journey of the Canning Agricultural, Horticultural and Recreational Society began in 1909 through the vision and commitment of community leaders who understood the importance of bringing people together through agriculture, horticulture, recreation and community participation. Today, we remain custodians of that legacy, with a responsibility to preserve our traditions while preparing CAHRS for the opportunities of the future.

Our strength has always come from our people. For more than a century, members, volunteers, exhibitors, partners and supporters have shaped an organisation that is recognised for its resilience, community spirit and commitment to creating meaningful experiences. Their dedication continues to inspire the direction we take.
